Global sales and marketing manager
In the role of Global Sales and Marketing Manager you are part of the Global Sales Team. You coach and lead our Sales and Marketing assistant.
Job description
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Position Deltachem International BV as a major supplier of specialty fertilizers and inhibitors/enhancers; creating and expanding the market position.
- Cooperate with the Global Sales Team to maximize market potential and business opportunities.
- Manage, develop and lead the marketing department to success.
- Manage, deal with and develop Global Key Accounts (distribution, cooperatives, agents), with strong and demanding business partners.
- Responsible for sales and margins.
- Prepare and implement the yearly business plan including budgets to maximise sales and profits.
- Develop annual and quarterly (marketing / sales) plans with agreed targets for the team.
- Create strong growth and realise new business with the product range.
- Participate in product innovation and communicate new product introductions to relevant customers.
- Research and analyse current market developments, price levels and competitor information.
- Negotiate, close and manage contracts.
- Keep the CRM system and the monthly forecast up to date.
- Report directly to the Managing Director.
Candidate profile
The candidate should have at least management experience of a (small) team. Negotiating skills and experience in commercial management are keys to success in this position. Ideally, he/she is a professional from the fertilizer business. A good knowledge of the agriculture distribution sector would be highly appreciated. Experience in the sales of specialty and innovative fertilizers and additives would be an advantage for this position.
You are able to build strong long term relationships and you are an experienced and results-driven leader who stands his ground. You are an ambassador in carrying out the organization’s vision, strategy and its ambitions. You always strive for the best and by doing so you contribute to the growth of the organization.
It is important that the candidate has the necessary technical background, understands the specific added value and benefits of Deltachem International BV products and is a good “marketer”. He/she should have a strong personality to be able to deal as a peer with key accounts. An international vision/openness is also important. Willingness to travel internationally (25-30%) and spend time on the field is essential for this position.

- Pro-active and able to handle complex situations.
- Effective in gaining cooperation of others, assertive, able to deal with resistance to change.

- Profound expertise in Office Package.
- Experience with CMS structures.
- Fluent Dutch & English + additional language is of advantage.

Coördinator Klantenservice en Distributie (Dutch)
Samenvatting
In deze fulltime (40 uur) functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het coördineren van de verkooporders vanaf de orderinvoer tot en met de levering aan de klant en de aftersales service. In deze functie ben je samen met de Supply chain manager de verbindende schakel tussen klant, verkoop, planning en distributie. Je draagt sterk bij tot een hoog serviceniveau, klantentevredenheid en indirect tot additionele verkoop.
Belangrijke verantwoordelijkheden
- Begeleiden van het verkoopproces van orderontvangst tot facturatie in ons ERP-systeem (AX);
- Coördinatie van transporten met betrekking tot inkomende en uitgaande vrachten (kosten, efficiëntie en kwaliteit zijn hierbij de belangrijke criteria);
- Afstemmen van transportplanning met Supply Chain en Productie;
- Proactieve communicatie met de klant over de details van de bestelling, de beschikbaarheid van de goederen, het vervoer, de leveringsvoorwaarden en alle andere zaken met betrekking tot de bestelling en de eisen van de klant;
- Correcte en tijdige afhandeling van export, import, vrachtdocumenten en douanezaken (inclusief EXA, Letter of Credit, Eur1, A.TR, CVO, CMR, B/L);
- Samenwerking met de verkoopafdeling met betrekking tot “Direct Trading Business” Afstemming van de inkooporders op de verkooporder, inclusief de productieplanning met de leverancier, etikettering, vervoer, documentatie, betalingen en aftersalescoördinatie;
- Contact met de leveranciers van de verpakkingsmaterialen, grondstoffen, opstellen van de aankooporders en de opvolging en planning van de leveringen.
- Het maken en aanpassen van de bestaande productcodes in het ERP-systeem
- Efficiënte afhandeling van eventuele problemen (claim registraties);
- Ondersteunen van de Supply chain manager en taken overnemen in zijn afwezigheid.
Jouw competenties
- Je hebt een afgeronde relevante hbo-opleiding;
- Je hebt werkervaring als allround expediteur of een soortgelijke functie;
- Je beschikt over kennis van warehousing, weg-, lucht- & zeetransport (kennis van douane is een pré);
- Je bezit kennis en ervaring met ERP-systemen en Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
- Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden;
- Je bent een teamspeler maar je kan ook zelfstandig werken;
- Je bent stressbestendig;
- Je kan georganiseerd werken, begrijpt en volgt de processen binnen de organisatie;
- Je bent klantgericht, resultaatgericht, servicegericht en assertief;
- Je hebt goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift; Duits is een pré.
